Season 6 Episode 4: Frozen
Kids, do you like the movie The Thing? How about Prometheus? Is The Fifth Element your favorite movie? If yes to any and all, you will like this episode. It's got isolated bases in Antarctica. It's got defrosting alien life forms. It's got philosophical queries into the origins of the human species. And most importantly, it has Multipass Girl, or the closest they could come. It's a fun episode!
Except for the end when everyone guilt trips O'Neill to do the thing he has sworn over and over again he would never do. Unacceptable!

Season 6 Episode 3: The Descent
So the gang find themselves in the Anubis Ship where Thor was interrogated, and ultimately, digitized. See, it ended up around Earth, and while that poses some serious plot holes, we don't think about it. What we do focus on is the random Jaffa who code the ship to crash into the Ocean, the sweet water scenes where everyone almost drowns like, three times, and Jacob Carter seeming to unconsciously want to see his daughter die.
Not much else happens in the episode.

Season 6 Episode 1: Redemption (Part 2)
Mean Girl Dr. McKay gets so humbled and allows Carter to finally really see Jonas Quinn, the Daniel Jackson who was right under the Gate Gang’s noses all along! He gets a major glow up and kind of saves the day, total Prom Queen vibes.
Since Teal’c was plot deviced off world, he’s able to get to Anubis and destroy his Earth Attack 6000. Nice!
Also, Teal'c's wife died last episode, and no one gives a shit.

Season 6 Episode 1: Redemption P1
Jonas Quinn of planet Colonics slow walks down the stairs and he is beautiful!! Just kidding, he’s still mousy and just the sociopolitical nerd next door. SG-1 is looking for a Prom Queen. All while being spammed electronically by a new Anubis weapon! They even bring back slimey McKay to also not figure out what to do till Part 2
Oh, also, wife of Teal’c has died, the son of Teal’c blames him, B Plot galore.

Season 5 Episode 22: Revelations
The most important thing that happens in this episode is seeing a 30,000-year-old Asgard found in stasis on an old ship because remember how they’re degrading from over-cloaning themselves? They HELLA undersold that.
Thor gets mind-melded to Anubis’s ship and the Asgard calvary show up and chase away Anubis so, that’s that for a big bad with such a big build up. Even MacNeil laments the anti-climax. Everyone reprises their roles from season one or two as DJ mourners.

Season 5 Episode 21: Meridian
Daniel Jackson has a pity party extreme all because he’s definitely dying a painful death for having saved a planet Colonic from self-destruction ala naquadria experiments.
He definitely does die though. Like, the end, that’s it, no more Deeej to kick around. Except that he’s an egg-drop-soup-but-in-air-instead-of-water being of light now. And also corporeal in Season 7. But totally he does die. Sort of.

Season 5 Episode 20: The Sentinel
So over on Latona we have your basic planet of these guys: “Yo, our forebears made us a cool shieldy kind of thing and then we all got real, super dumb and have no idea how it works. Well, except that one guy NID murdered.”
The result? Of that plus not being Daddy’s favorites? SG-9 is dead and SG-1 has to get some a-holes out on work release to help fix the set of Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In before the Gooooooooooolds win!

Season 5 Episode 19: Menace
We meet the Proto Borg Robot that MADE the Replicators eons ago. She exclaims that DADDY MADE ME WRONG! Daniel doesn't hear any of that ableist nonsense and tries to help her. That and everyone else's (except Teal'c, bless him) bad decisions end up with Replicators ON THE BASE!
This has to be the end, right? Well, no, because GENERAL ACTION DADDY joins the fray, puts on a black T-shirt, packs some heat, and obliterates all those lego spiders. And Jack shoots the robot girl in front of Daniel, sealing their fate as Ex-Best Friends. Good episode.

Season 5 Episode 18: The Warrior
Well, Teal and Bray Bray go see that the Jaffa Rebellion is alive and well in the hands of a charismatic leader, a man who is SUPER into keeping the rebels fed, SUPER loves help from the SGC, and SUPER DUPER hates the idea and usage of suicide bombers in his outfit.
Actually, he LOOOOOVES all that, so O'Neill is like, "Nah, wrong Jaffa Rebellion. Let's roll out Teal'c!" But Teal'c apparently super LOOOOOVES all that too, and decides to quit his job and his best friend to join this guy.

You GUYS! The Gate Gang litrally hyperdrives through planet Earth! I didn’t even know they could do that! And it is soooo much smarter than blowing it up.
The Gooolds try to sabotage/destroy Earth without openly violating their Assguard treaty and that’s what happens because between you and me, I don’t think those little grays even care about the Tauri. Tau’ri? Taur’i?
